Renewables: Intesa Sanpaolo joins over €950m financing for Enviromena

28 May 2026 Intesa Sanpaolo , through its IMI Corporate & Investment Banking Division , has participated in an £825 million financing , equivalent to more than €950 million, for Enviromena to support the development of renewable energy projects in the United Kingdom. The transaction represents one of the largest deals in the UK solar sector in 2026 and will contribute to the energy transition, security of supply and the deployment of low-emission solutions. Enviromena, owned by Arjun Infrastructure Partners, operates in the development, construction and management of large-scale solar plants and energy storage systems in the United Kingdom and across Europe.
