Focus Solutions Group plc ("Focus" or "the Group")
Focus signs £6 million contract with HSBC Bank plc
Focus, a leading provider of adaptive software solutions, has signed a £6
million contract with HSBC Bank plc for the development and supply of the first
phase of a large-scale, multi-channel point of sale system, to support HSBC's
multi-tie distribution channel for life, pensions and investment products.
The majority of the contract value will be payable within the next 18 months and
relates to the first major phase of a two phase programme.
The full contract was awarded to Focus following its successful delivery of a
development and consultancy project to scope the requirements for this major
project for HSBC, earlier in the year.
Richard Stevenson, Chief Executive, Focus Solutions Group plc added:
"This contract with HSBC is Focus' largest bancassurance win to date and we are
extremely proud to have such a prestigious banking organisation as a customer.
This is our second major contract with a large high street bank and we are
developing a strong market position in the fast growing bancassurance sector. We
have a proven delivery capability in this market and with contracts of
significant size, see it as a key growth opportunity for the organisation in the
future."
