UNE EPM Telecommunications Selects Orca Interactive for First IPTV Service
Rollout in Colombia
Ra'anana, Israel - October 23, 2007 - Orca Interactive Ltd. (LSE: ORCA), a
global market leader in developing middleware and applications for IPTV,
announces that UNE EPM Telecommunications, a leading provider of internet,
telephony and television services in Colombia has selected Orca's advanced
RiGHTv middleware to enable the first ever IPTV service rollout in the South
American country.
UNE EPM Telecommunications' IPTV service is expected to be available in major
cities across Colombia in the first quarter of 2008. The deployment will be
carried out by Union Electrica S.A., Orca's partner and system integrator in the
project, providing a seamless end-to-end solution.
Drawing on its diverse expertise and high quality service, Orca Interactive is
bringing forth a proven ecosystem of partners and technologies previously
deployed in Europe, to provide UNE EPM Telecommunications with a dynamic,
