CALGARY, Jan. 7 /CNW Telbec/ - Michael Binnion, President of Questerre, launched a blog in French and English to open a dialogue on shale gas and other issues relevant to Questerre.
"The debate on shale gas has become too polarized. People have the right to their own opinion but they don't have the right to their own facts. Sustainable development principles call for a balance among environmental, local and economic imperatives. We need to have a real debate about that, says Binnion."
Mr. Binnion is regularly invited to speak as an expert at shale gas conferences in Canada and internationally. He was also asked to testify at the House of Commons to the Standing Committee on Natural Resources. He will be blogging on current events focusing on those relevant to the Utica natural gas discovery in the St. Lawrence Lowlands.
