· Issued by Cleghorn Minerals Ltd.

MONTREAL, July 21 /CNW Telbec/ - Canadian Royalties Inc. (TSX: CZZ) announces that it has been advised by two of its directors, Mr. Bruce Durham and Mr. Glenn Mullan, that Ungava Minerals Exploration Inc. ("UMEI") lost its appeal in the highest court of Quebec (Court of Appeal of Quebec), in its (UMEI's) attempt to reverse an earlier decision of the Quebec Superior Court, that was unfavourable to Ungava Minerals.

Bruce Durham and Glenn Mullan were successful in having this 2006 action against them dismissed by the Quebec Superior Court on April 24, 2007, and again, as mentioned above, in the Court of Appeal of Quebec on July 16, 2008, when the Honorable Louise Otis, Juge de la Cour d'appel (JCA), the Honorable Francois Pelletier, JCA, and the Honorable Marie-France Bich, JCA, rejected Ungava's appeal, with costs to be paid by Ungava Minerals.
