Q3FY26 Trading Update
Cirata plc (LSE: CRTA), the data orchestration technology company, is announcing an unaudited trading update for the quarter ending 30 September 2026 (Q3FY26). A supporting video presentation with Q&A will be available here soon after this release.
Q3FY26 Trading Update Highlights
- Q3FY26 KPIs
- Completed oversubscribed Placing and Subscription together with Retail Offer on 24 July 2026, raising gross proceeds of £5.4m (c.$7.2m)
- Cash at 30 September 2026 of $6.2m[4] and short-term trade receivables of $1.1m, resulting in a cash and short-term receivable balance of $7.3m
- Cash overheads in Q3FY26 of $3.2m, in line with our FY26 annualized expected range of $12-13m
- Full Year FY26 outlook unchanged from the interim results announced on 16 September 2026
Stephen Kelly, Chief Executive Officer of Cirata, commented:
“This year our second half is heavily weighted towards the final quarter as we continue to pursue larger, higher quality enterprise opportunities. Importantly, opportunities remain in the pipeline; engagement with the customers and partners involved remains strong; and our focus for Q4 rests squarely on converting them.
Our go-to-market team is focussed, our balance sheet was strengthened by the oversubscribed fundraise we completed in July, and we continue to operate within our $12-13m annualized cost range. Cirata Symphony is now in deployment with a leading UK retailer, progressing a POC with a major US Bank and is available to IBM customers as Cirata Symphony for IBM Big Replicate.
While enterprise sales into the Forbes Global 2000 accounts are inherently lumpy, they speak to the opportunity our product and GTM organization is targeting. This drives us forward as we remain focused on disciplined execution and on demonstrating that our team and pipeline can convert these opportunities into new customer acquisition."
Operational KPIs
As introduced in the Q1FY26 trading update of 14 April 2026, ACV, Billings and RCB are additional key operational metrics, providing greater visibility of the underlying performance of the business.
- ACV represents the annualized value of contracted customer agreements in force at a point in time, including both licence and associated maintenance components, and is independent of revenue recognition and billing timing.
- Billings represent the value of invoices issued to customers during the period.
- RCB represents contracted future invoicing not yet billed and provides visibility over future cash flows.
There was no net New ACV for the quarter, with two contract expirations in the period reflecting one off migration. Closing ACV[5] was therefore at $5.2m.

Trading Update
As set out in the Company’s Interim Results announced on 16 September 2026, certain anticipated contracts are now expected to close over a longer timeframe than initially expected, partly reflecting a change in business outlook at one channel partner which has reduced visibility on the timing of a small number of key contracts. These opportunities remain in the pipeline, and the Company continues to engage actively with the customers and partners concerned.
The previously announced Retail customer engagement for Cirata Symphony is progressing as the customer implementation moves from test to the production environment, similarly the POC for a large US Bank is progressing and this alongside IBM’s validation of the product through its OEM agreement, gives Cirata Symphony important momentum. Management’s priority facing Q4 is to build on these opportunities to drive new logo wins, expand within existing customers and further improve visibility and predictability in the business model.
Cash and Overheads
On 24 July 2026, following shareholder approval at a General Meeting, the Company completed an oversubscribed Placing and Subscription together with a Retail Offer, raising gross proceeds of £5.4m (c.$7.2m).
As of 30 September 2026, the unaudited cash balance was $6.2m and the short-term trade receivables balance was $1.1m, resulting in a cash plus short-term receivables balance of $7.3m as of 30 September 2026.
Cirata has reduced its cash overhead by over 70% from its peak. Q3FY26 cash overheads were $3.2m, consistent with the FY26 annualized expected range of $12-13m.
