CALGARY, Aug. 1 /CNW/ - Pulse Data Inc. ("Pulse" or the "Company") is
pleased to announce that further to the announcement on May 15, 2006, it has
closed the sale of its wholly owned subsidiary, Trango Technologies Inc.
("Trango") to Fugro Canada Inc. for $1.8 million plus a working capital
adjustment. Ken MacDonald, President and CEO of Pulse stated, "We believe this
disposition will be a very good situation for Trango, and will allow an
accelerated deployment of its products and technologies on a worldwide basis,
and will allow Pulse to continue to focus on its core business."
Pulse is a Calgary-based company specializing in data ownership through
acquisition, marketing and information management, with a current focus on the
energy sector. Through its operating segments, Pulse Seismic and Terrapoint,
the Company has evolved into an industry leader in providing Better

Fugro Canada Inc. is a wholly owned subsidiary of Fugro NV. Fugro was
