Premier Investments Limited (Premier) today announced the appointment of Terry McCartney as an Independent Non-Executive Director effective 15 April 2016.
Terry is a former Managing Director of both Myer Grace Brothers and Kmart. After his successful executive career in retail, Terry became a key advisor to several private equity firms in relation to retail investments both in Australia and internationally. He has also been retained, over the years, by international accounting and legal firms as an expert witness in relation to Australian retail.
In addition to his extensive list of retail experience, he has also been an advisor to large Australian and international mining companies.
He is currently an Independent Non-Executive Director of Premier's wholly owned subsidiary, Just Group Limited.
Premier Chairman, Mr Solomon Lew said: "The Premier Board is delighted that Terry has accepted a position on the Board. Terry's retail and general business experience will further enhance the skills of Premier Board. We look forward to Terry's contribution."
