Poland's PGE to spend $63.8 billion under new strategy

Poland's top utility PGE GPW:PGE plans to invest 235 billion zlotys ($63.80 billion) by 2035, focusing on renewables, gas-fired power plants, and energy storage, it said on Thursday as it unveiled its new strategy.PGE expects its core profit to rise from 11 billion zlotys in 2024 to 17 billion zlotys in 2030 and 30 billion zlotys in 2035 as a result of implementing the strategy.($1 = 3.6835 zlotys)
