370 Oil Refinery Workers Demand Employer Bargain in Good Faith
LINDEN, N.J., Sept. 14, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Workers at Phillips 66 Bayway Refinery, represented by Teamsters Local 877, will rally at 3 p.m. on Tuesday, September 15, to demand a fair contract. Their current agreement expires on Oct. 1.
The 370 process and mechanical workers at the largest oil refinery in the Northeast are demanding a contract that delivers higher wages, stronger benefits, and the elimination of the Absence Control Policy, which gives management the authority to discipline employees up to and including termination for being sick.
The rally comes ahead of negotiations with the employer on Wednesday, September 16.
