Megawide Construction Corporation (MWIDE) listed its Series 7A and Series 7B preferred shares (MWP7A and MWP7B) at the Philippine Stock Exchange (PSE) on Wednesday, November 19, 2025.
The company will use around 60 percent of the Php3 billion raised from the follow-on offering (FOO) to pay debt. The remaining amount will be mostly utilized for its pipeline projects across construction, real estate, and infrastructure segments to boost Megawide's capacity to deliver on its projects, and the rest will be allocated for general corporate purposes.
This FOO is MWIDE's second for the year, the first being its Series 6 issuance in April. Both offerings were oversubscribed - Series 7 at 2.25x and Series 6 at 1.758x.
"Clearly, the market's positive reception to these FOOs is testament to the faith the investment community places in Megawide's young, vibrant and determined leadership, bright outlook and strong market position," said PSE President and CEO Ramon S. Monzon. He also cited that MWIDE is only one of three companies to have done back-to-back FOOs in a single year in the last 15 years.
"I am pleased that PSE remains to be the preferred conduit for Megawide to access the capital it needs to support the company's operations and sustain its growth in the competitive engineering and infrastructure sector," Mr. Monzon added.
