Percentage of shares held in treasury
London, UK, 21 August 2026: The Company announces that as a result of its purchases of ordinary shares of 10 pence each (ordinary shares) through Morgan Stanley & Co. International plc (Morgan Stanley), as part of the share buyback programme of up to $200m announced on 4 August 2026 (the Programme), the percentage of its share capital held in treasury exceeded 5% of the Company's voting rights on 6 August 2026.
With the additional share purchases announced by the Company on 17 August 2026, the Company held 102,469,942 of its ordinary shares in treasury as of 17 August, representing 5.26% of the total voting rights in the Company.
This announcement is made pursuant to Rule 5.5.1 of the Financial Conduct Authority's Disclosure Guidance and Transparency Rules and was intended to be made within four trading days of 6 August 2026, when the Company first crossed the 5% threshold referred to above.
