1 | The interim financial statements of the company and the group have been prepared in accordance with Sri Lanka Accounting Standards. There were no changes to the accounting policies and methods of computation since the publication of the Annual Report for the financial year 2023/24. These interim financial statements have been prepared in compliance with the requirements of Sri Lanka Accounting Standard 34 "Interim Financial Reporting". |

9 | Capital work in progress |
Capital Work-in-Progress represents expenditures incurred on the construction of 05 Mws ground mounted solar project in PAP EGSS Solar (Private) Limited, PAP MHPL Solar (Private) Limited, PAP PTS Solar (Private) Limited and PAP SPGM Solar (Private) Limited. Capital Work-in-Progress Balance will be transferred to the relevant asset category when it is available for use, i.e., when it is in the location and condition necessary for it to be capable of operating in the manner intended by management. Further, out of total estimated project cost 70% will be financed by using long term bank borrowings. |
10 | Changes in ownership interest without a loss of control | |
At the end of the year, R-E-D Capital Asia (Pvt) Ltd issued 49% stake to NCI without affecting the controlling power of Panasian Power PLC. As a result of that, Panasian Power PLC effective holding on PAP MHPL Solar (Pvt) Ltd, PAP SPGM Solar (Pvt) Ltd, PAP PTS Solar (Pvt) Ltd and PAP EGSS Solar (Pvt) Ltd also have reduced to 51%. As per LKAS 27, this transaction has been treated as an equity transaction with owners. No gain or loss recognized in profit or loss statement.The carrying amount of the non-controlling interest is adjusted to reflect the change in ownership interest. | ||

11 | Events occurring after reporting date |
There have been no material events occurring after the reporting period that require adjustments to or disclosure in the financial statements other than below disclosures. |
i) Subsequent to the reporting date the Board of Directors of the company approved a first and final dividend of LKR.0.20 per share for the year ended 31st March 2025 which was paid on 06 May 2025. |
ii) Subsequent to the reporting date, a subsidiary company, PAP MHPL Solar (Private) Limited received disbursements LKR. 730Mn under an approved term loan facility with Hatton National Bank PLC (HNB). These disbursements were made to finance ongoing capital expenditure related to the ground solar power plant developments at Ampara & Kurunegala. As the disbursements occurred after the reporting period and do not affect the conditions existing as at the reporting date, they have not been recognized in the financial statements but are disclosed here as a non-adjusting event. |

There are below mentioned material contingent liabilities as at reporting date which require adjustments to or disclosure in the financial statements other than disclosures were made in annual report 2023/24. |
i) The Group has capital expenditure commitments of LKR 7.62bn as at 31st March 2025, relating to construction of 05 Mws, 07 number of ground mounter PV projects, 3Mws hydropower project at Padiyapelella and renovation of 3Mws hydropower project at Rathganga. |
