Pursuant to Section 159(4) of the Companies Act, 2017, Members of Pakistan National Shipping Corporation(Corporation) are hereby notified that the following persons have filed notice of their intention to offer themselves for election as Directors of the Corporation under Section 159(3) of the Companies Act 2017, for the next three years at the 47th Annual General Meeting of the Corporation

Since the number of persons who offered themselves to be elected does not exceed the number of Directors fixed by the Federal Government under Section 14(1)(e) of the PNSC Ordinance, 1979, therefore, no election of directors is required to be held in accordance with the provisions of Section 159(5) of the Companies Act, 2017. Accordingly, both candidates shall be deemed to have been elected at 47'h AGM subject to fulfilment of Codal formalities as Directors of the Corporation for the next term of three years.
