(Nasdaq:OPXS), a leading manufacturer of precision optical sighting systems for domestic and worldwide military and commercial applications, announced today it has been awarded a new contract from General Dynamics Land Systems - Canada. The order value is $1.2 million and will extend support for the Light Armored Vehicle Weapon system through the end of 2029. With this order, the current Optex backlog is in excess of $28.3 million.
