VANCOUVER, Oct. 14 /CNW/ - OneMove Technologies Inc. ("OneMove" or the "Company") (TSX-V: OM), a provider of a leading web-based real estate transaction platform, today announced that it has entered into an agreement to integrate econveyance(TM), its online conveyancing software application, with Nuance Systems Ltd.'s ("Nuance") web-based real estate purchase, sale and listing management software system, REALTYNuance(TM).
British Columbia-based Canadian Real Estate Association members ("REALTORS(R)") will soon be able to interact with econveyance through their REALTYNuance user interface. The integration of the two online solutions will enable REALTORS(R) to easily transfer pertinent real estate transaction details directly to econveyance to pre-populate the conveyance forms. REALTORS(R) will also receive email updates regarding the status of the conveyance documents.
"With more than 1,200 lawyers and notaries already processing real estate transactions through econveyance, we believe we can increase our monthly transaction volume by extending our reach into the real estate agent market," said Martin Johnson, President and CEO, OneMove. "There are more than 1,000 REALTORS(R) across Western Canada currently using REALTYNuance. Having a direct link between econveyance and REALTYNuance will drive more traffic to our web-based platform, especially as we draw closer to the 2010/2011 deadline for electronic filing of land transfer documents in British Columbia."
Upon completion of the software integration, REALTORS(R) will be able to forward deal sheet data and purchase and sale contracts from REALTYNuance directly to the econveyance platform to pre-populate the corresponding conveyance documents. REALTORS(R) will also be able to use REALTYNuance to automatically invite the lawyers or notaries who are participating in the buy or sell transaction into the conveyance file, or to pick-up the active file electronically from the econveyance platform. REALTORS(R) who are using REALTYNuance to connect with econveyance will receive email alerts advising them on the completion status of the conveyance documents.
