WINNIPEG, Feb. 15 /CNW/ - MPVC Inc. (TSX-V: MPI) announced today that its wholly-owned subsidiary, One Contact (Canada) Inc. ("OCI"), has entered into a a Master Services Agreement (the "MSA") with Yak Communications (Canada) Corp. ("Yak"), a subsidiary of Globalive Communications Corp.

The term of the MSA is five years. OCI has taken over operational responsibility for call centre services for Yak as of December 1, 2006 including Yak's residential and business long distance customer care, technical support, provisioning and billing support (the "Yak Services").

OCI began providing and invoicing Yak for the Yak Services on December 1, 2006, and it is management's belief that OCI revenue from Yak is expected to reach up to $1.4 Million CDN annually in each of the five years, although this estimate is subject to adjustment based on workload and volume.

OCI has concluded the hiring of key personnel from Yak and the transition of the Yak Services is now complete.

Further, and outside the scope of the current MSA, OCI has launched a pilot project of outbound customer acquisition programs on behalf of Yak. Customer conversions are growing at a healthy rate, and over the next 90 days management of OCI expects that OCI and Yak will enter into a longer term customer acquisition agreement, as a statement of services, under the terms of this MSA, although there can be no assurances that this will occur.

"The team at OCI has demonstrated a capability and nimbleness second to few organizations that we deal with today. They have taken an underperforming asset and turned it into a more economical business for us in a matter of 60 days, while contributing to the top line through recent projects we have launched. We are on a very aggressive growth path, and underpinning our growth with practices that ensure customer loyalty and our own scalability" - Anthony Lacavera, CEO and Founder, Globalive Communications Corp.
