CERRITOS, CA, Aug. 21 /CNW/ - Omni-Lite Industries Canada Inc. is pleased to announce that its United States subsidiary, Omni-Lite Industries California Inc. has successfully completed the requirements of the ISO 9001:2000 Quality Management System.
"The Quality Management System at Omni-Lite Industries California Inc. supports the requirements of our military, aerospace, automotive and sports and recreational customers," stated John Sidener, Quality Assurance Manager. "This success is key to ensuring that customer quality requirements are met, enhancing customer satisfaction and promoting future business endeavors with our key partners. This achievement was identified as a major milestone in the Vision 2015 growth plan."
ISO 9001:2000 is a part of the ISO 9000 family of standards for quality management systems. ISO 9000 is maintained by ISO, the International Organization for Standardization and is administered by accreditation and certification bodies worldwide. Omni-Lite was registered effective August 18, 2008. In support of the ISO 9001:2000 Standard, Omni-Lite's Quality Management System covers all aspects of the organization's activities including defining quality policies and objectives, roles and responsibilities, documentation requirements, the importance of understanding and meeting customer requirements, communication, resource requirements, training, product and process planning, purchasing, production and service, monitoring and measurement of products and processes, customer satisfaction, internal audit, management review, and identification and improvement to its key technical processes.
