CALGARY, May 14 /CNW/ - Effective May 14, 2009 Olympia Financial Group Inc. ("The Corporation") has instituted a Distribution Reinvestment and Option Share Purchase Plan ("The Plan") for all common shareholders of the Corporation resident in Canada.
Shareholders will be able to elect all or a partial amount of their common dividend payment and or optional cash payment to purchase additional common shares of the Corporation through the Plan.
The Plan Administrator, Olympia Trust Company will purchase common shares of the Corporation on the Toronto Stock Exchange open market (TSX:V - OLY). The purchase price to shareholders will be the average weighted share price of the shares purchased on behalf of the Plan holders.
Enrolment forms and the Plan information circular will be mailed to all registered shareholders on May 15, 2009. Beneficial shareholders should contact their financial advisor / broker should they wish to participate in the plan.
