Notice of Announcement for Shift to "Prime Market" Under the New Market Category

Tokyo Stock Exchange, Inc. reorganized into a new market category on April 4th.

The Company announce dthat we have shifted to a new market category "Prime Market."

The new "Prime Market" will comprise companies with market capitalizations (liquidities) that satisfy the investment criteria of a large number of institutional investors, a higher standard of corporate governance, and a commitment to drive sustainable growth and long-term shareholder value creation via constructive dialogue with global investors.

In line with the characteristics of the new market segment, the Company will continue to engage in interactive dialogue with investors. In addition, we will aim to enhance our corporate value as a "sustainable retail company" by conducting "honest IR".
