CAMELLIA PLC('CAMELLIA') RECOMMENDED CASH OFFER ('OFFER') FOR BRITISH MOHAIR
HOLDINGS PLC ('BRITISH MOHAIR') - OFFER LAPSED
Following the announcement of 26 September 2000 of the sale of its holding of
3,955,000 British Mohair Shares for 163 pence per share in cash to Browallia
International BV, the Board of Camellia hereby declares the Offer to have
lapsed.
By 3.00 p.m. on 28 September 2000, Camellia had received valid acceptances of
the Offer from the holders of 1,991,658 British Mohair Shares (representing
approximately 15.01 per cent. of the existing issued Share capital of
British Mohair).
All documents of title received by Camellia's registrars will be returned to
accepting British Mohair shareholders within 14 days. In addition, Camellia's
registrars will immediately give instructions to transfer all British Mohair
shares held in escrow balances to the original available balances of those
British Mohair shareholders concerned.
