Akihiko Ogino, President and CEO (Securities Code: 8601 TSE Prime and NSE Premiere) Notice Regarding Changes to the Shareholder Benefit Program Daiwa Securities Group Inc. ("the Company") hereby announces that it has revised its shareholder benefit program as outlined below. Reason for the Revision The Company has implemented a shareholder benefit program as a token of its appreciation for the continued support of its shareholders, with the aim of enhancing the attractiveness of its shares and encouraging a broader base of shareholders to support the Company. In recent years, amid rising inflation, the costs associated with procuring and delivering shareholder benefit items have been on an upward trend. In light of the need to continue providing substantial and sustainable shareholder benefits to our shareholders, the Company has decided to revise the content of its shareholder benefit program. The Company will continue to make every effort to provide attractive shareholder benefits that meet the expectations of our shareholders, and we appreciate your continued support. Details of the Revision Changes to Shareholder Benefit Categories In addition to the current four categories (shareholdings of 1,000 shares or more, 3,000 shares or more, 5,000 shares or more, and 10,000 shares or more), a new category of "2,000 to 2,999 shares" will be introduced, resulting in a total of five categories. Changes to Shareholder Benefit Details For shareholders holding 1,000 to 1,999 shares, the benefit will be changed from a gift valued at JPY 2,000 (one item selectable from the shareholder benefit catalog) to a JPY 2,000 QUO Card. For shareholders holding 2,000 to 2,999 shares, the benefit will be changed from a gift valued at JPY 2,000 (one item selectable from the shareholder benefit catalog) to a gift valued at JPY 3,000 (one item selectable from the shareholder benefit catalog). For shareholders holding 3,000 to 4,999 shares, the benefit will be changed from gifts valued at JPY 4,000 (two items selectable from the shareholder benefit catalog, each valued at JPY 2,000) to a combination of a JPY 1,000 QUO Card and a gift valued at JPY 3,000 (one item selectable from the shareholder benefit catalog).
