- Reasons for the Difference
In the six months ended September 30, 2016, in the power systems segment, sales of products related to new energy were sluggish. On the other hand, in the semiconductor devices segment, due to increased demand in overseas end markets, sales were robust for products for white goods and automotive products sold by the Company. As a result, as mentioned above, differences arose between the initial forecast announced at the start of the fiscal year and actual results.
