Electronic Materials

  • Special Glass sales were strong and contributed to earnings, driven by continued robust demand for uses in AI servers.

Sales and profit increased

Medical

  • Some impact from preferential treatment for products made in China, but sales of in vitro diagnostic reagents were stable. We also continued strengthening the foundation.

  • Sales were flat year on year.The same period of the previous year had been affected by cost increases associated with periodic repairs to production facilities and other factors.
