▍ Financial Results of FY2025 H1
− Sales reached record highs in the FY2025 H1.
− Operating profit remained the same level as the previous fiscal year for the reason of the effects of FOREX by the shift to yen appreciation and temporary expenses.
− In the automotive business, the effects on demand by US tariff measures remains uncertain. The sales volume increased YoY, and the sales amount also increased by passing on price increases according to a plan.
− Interim dividend has increased by 2 yen from the initial forecast to 93 yen per share (5 yen dividend increase from the previous fiscal year).
▍ Financial Plan for FY2025
− Both of the sales revenue and operating profit forecasted at the beginning of this fiscal year will be kept unchanged.
− FOREX assumption has been revised as described below:
1 US dollar = 145 yen (initial forecast: 140 yen), 1 Euro = 170 yen (initial forecast: 155 yen).
− We are planning to increase the full year dividend by 4 yen and pay 186 yen per share (8 yen dividend increase compared to that of the previous year).

Summary of Financial Results FY2025 - H1(IFRS)− In the automotive business, the sales revenue increased YoY for the reasons that the sales both in OEM assembly and AM products increased in addition to the steady implementation of price increase responding to inflation
and US tariff measures.
− In the component solution business, the sales revenue increased YoY for the reasons that the demand in SPE business increased. The sales of Niterra Materials included as our consolidated subsidiary from this fiscal year also contributed to business improvement.

Sales revenue increased by 4% YoY.
Sales volume increased both in OEM assembly and AM products.
The implementation of price increase also contributed to boost it to the record high level.

Sales Revenue− The production volume of ICE vehicles decreased by 3.5% YoY.
− In both our spark plugs and sensors for exhaust gas, the sales volume increased YoY. The sales amount also increased YoY by passing on price increases.

Operating Profit− The impact of US tariff measures reduced to -0.6 billion yen for the reasons of the decrease in tax rates, the delay in the effective timing, and the effects of inventory status.
− The operating profit increased both in the automotive and SPE businesses on the basis of actual performance.
However, there were some factors contributing to profit decline such as the impact of yen appreciation and temporary
expenses.
