Regarding System Failures within the Nichirei Group

Nichirei Corporation hereby announces that, as of today, we have confirmed that employee information was stored on some of the servers affected by a cyberattack, and there is a risk that some of this employee information may have been leaked.

1. Regarding the relevant personal information

   The personal information at risk of leakage is as follows:

   Names, dates of birth, company email addresses, employee identification numbers, and other information related to personnel and labor management handled by Nichirei Group companies in Japan.

   ♙t this time, we have not confirmed any instances of unauthorized use of this personal information; however, in case you receive any suspicious communications, please exercise caution and refrain from accessing URLs, entering IDs, passwords, or personal information, or opening attached files.

2. Future Response

We will continue our investigation with the assistance of an external cybersecurity specialist firm. Should any further risk of personal information leakage be identified, we will promptly notify the affected individuals and take appropriate measures in accordance with laws and regulations regarding the protection of personal information.

We disconnected our systems from the network on July 13, 2026, and are continuing to strengthen the systems and enhance our monitoring capabilities.
