Higher natural-gas prices caused by the conflict in the Middle East will drive up demand for heat pumps, benefiting Swedish energy systems-maker Nibe Industrier, analysts at Bank of America write. Though demand for such technology in the U.S. has been hurt by the removal of government subsidies, an uptick in European demand for the group's heat pumps will likely materialize in the second half of 2026, the analysts write. Gas-price volatility will also accelerate building electrification in Germany and Eastern Europe--both key markets for Nibe--the analysts say.
