II Environmental Protection Business | II 環保業務 |
The Environmental Protection Business involves:
- harmless waste treatments;
- development and management of environmental protection industrial park; and
- new energy materials.
For the Period, the Group's revenue from the Environmental Protection Business increased by approximately 4.1% to approximately HK$48.5 million (1H2023: HK$46.6 million). Discussion and analysis on the business performances of kitchen waste treatment are set out below.

Harmless waste treatments
The Group's harmless waste treatments covered construction and operation of kitchen waste treatment, diseased livestock and poultry and related business. - Kitchen waste treatment related business
Revenue generated from the kitchen waste treatment related business comprises (i) construction revenue from Build-Operate-Transfer ("BOT") projects under construction; and (ii) income from operating plants including government subsidy for kitchen waste treatment and sales of by-products including but not limited to used-cooking oil, etc. produced during the process of the kitchen waste treatment.
During the Period, revenue generated from kitchen waste treatment amounted to HK$33.9 million (1H2023: HK$38.1 million), and such decrease was mainly attributable to the construction revenue of Xuancheng Plant.

餐 廚 垃 圾 處 理 相 關 業 務 產 生 的 收 入 包 括 (i)來 自 在 建 建 造 - 經 營 - 移 交 （「 BOT」）項 目 的 建 築 收 入；及 (ii)經 營 餐 廚 項 目 的 收 入（包 括 處 理 餐 廚 垃 圾 的 政 府 補 助 以 及 餐 廚 垃 圾 處 理 過 程 中 所 產 生 副 產 品 （包 括 但 不 限 於 廢 用 油 等）
的 銷 售 額）。
於 本 期 間，餐 廚 垃 圾 處 理 產 生 的 收 入 為 33,900,000 港 元（ 2 0 2 3 年 上 半 年 ： 38,100,000港 元），且 有 關 減 少 乃 主 要 由 於 宣 城 項 目 建 築 收 入 所 致。

1 Hefei Plant | 1 合 肥 項 目 |
Hefei Feifan Bio Technology Co., Ltd.* (合 肥 非 凡 生 物 科 技 有 限 公 司 ) Hefei Plant is wholly-ownedby the Group and is operated under the BOT model with a permitted capacity of 200 tons per day.
The capacity of Hefei Plant was around 200 tons per day as at 30 September 2024.
2 Xuancheng Plant
Xuancheng Xichong Biological Technology Co., Ltd.* (宣 城 市 西 冲 生 物 科 技 有 限 公 司 ) ("Xuancheng Plant") is a wholly-ownedsubsidiary of the Group. The total planned capacity of Xuancheng Plant is 300 tons per day upon completion of its construction which will be carried out in 2 phases. The service concession agreement was entered into with Xuancheng Urban Management and Law Enforcement* 宣 城 市 城 市 管 理 綜 合 執 法 局 for a period of 30 years under BOT model in August 2021.
Construction of Phase 1 of Xuancheng Plant was completed during the year ended 31 March 2023.
In 1H2023, Xuancheng Plant was granted for commencement for trial commercial operation.
The treatment volume of Xuancheng Plant gradually increased to 132 tons per day by end of September 2024.
合 肥 非 凡 生 物 科 技 有 限 公 司（ 合 肥 項
目 )由 本 集 團 全 資 擁 有 ， 以 BOT 模 式 經 營 ， 許 可 處 理 量 為 每 天 200噸。
2024 年 9 月 30 日 ， 合 肥 項 目 的 處 理 量 約 為 每 天 200噸。
2 宣 城 項 目
宣 城 市 西 冲 生 物 科 技 有 限 公 司（「宣城 項目」）為 本 集 團 的 全 資 附 屬 公 司 。 宣 城 項 目 建 成 後 的 總 計 劃 處 理 量 為 每 天 300噸，將 分 兩 期 進 行。其 已 於 2021年 8月 以 BOT模 式 與 宣 城 市 城 市 管 理 綜 合 執 法 局 訂 立 一 份 特 許 經 營 權 協 議 ， 為
期 30年。
宣 城 項 目 1期 工 程 已 於 截 至 2023 年 3 月 31日 止 年 度 完 成。
於 2023年 上 半 年， 宣 城 項 目 獲 准 展 開 試 商 業 運 行。
宣 城 項 目 的 處 理 量
於 2024 年 9 月 底 前 逐 漸 上 升 至 每 天
