The procurement covers a comprehensive integration solution, including an integration platform, API management, and services for designing, developing, and maintaining integrations. The integration environment currently in use by the City of Turku is fragmented and consists of several different systems. The goal of the procurement is to introduce more modern integration solutions, improve visibility into the operation of the integration environment and enable centralised API management. In addition, the goal is to ensure that the development and maintenance of solutions can later be transferred to another supplier without the need to re-tender the systems. Netum's Frends integration platform will be implemented using a hybrid model so that the solution supports the controlled deployment, piloting and subsequent migration of the city's integrations. At the same time, the aim is to ensure that the implementation, supervision and further development of integrations are more centralised, transparent and easier to transfer. "We have been cooperating with the City of Turku for several years, and we are happy that our cooperation is now expanding to integration services. Our solution brings data transfer between systems into a single, managed entity, which ensures smooth operations and makes our customers' everyday lives easier," says Repe Harmanen, CEO of Netum Group Plc.
