The agreement covers land remediation and restoration of areas, including former boat storage sites. The contract runs for two years, with an option for two years extension. Järfälla municipality is located in the northern part of Stockholm County and has significant land areas along Lake Mälaren and several other lakes. The municipality has undertaken several initiatives to remediate shoreline areas by removing pollutants and thereby improving water quality.
