Mystique Energy Adds Nick Antonenko as VP Production Operations

CALGARY, May 30 /CNW/ - Mystique Energy Inc. (TSX-V: MYS) ("Mystique")
announced that Mr. Nick Antonenko has joined the management team as Vice
President, Production Operations. Mr. Antonenko began his career with Hudson's
Bay Oil and Gas Company Limited and has over 35 years of experience in the
petroleum industry in western Canada. As Vice President, Production Operations
for Northstar Energy Corporation and then Devon Energy Corp. he was
responsible for all engineering and operations activities in western Canada.
Most recently Mr. Antonenko was Vice President, Production Operations for a
Canadian junior oil and gas company, Cinch Energy Corp.

team. His expertise in the many facets of petroleum operations will assist us
tremendously as we continue to increase our production as a result of our
drilling program".
Mr. Antonenko has been granted options, under the terms of Mystique's
option plan, to purchase 400,000 common shares of Mystique at $0.37 per share
as part of his remuneration package.
