Mumbai-based KEC International wind $120mn in EPC deals

· Issued by Kec International Ltd.

KEC International has announced a fresh round of contract wins totalling INR10.16bn ($120mn), underscoring the company’s continued push to diversify its order book across multiple infrastructure segments, POWERLINE writes. The Mumbai-based engineering, procurement and construction group said the awards span its transmission and distribution, civil, oil and gas, and cables and conductors divisions, reflecting steady demand in both domestic and overseas markets.

The transmission and distribution arm secured a series of orders in the Middle East and the Americas, including the supply of towers, hardware and poles for network expansion schemes. It also won contracts for the construction of 400 kV transmission lines in the United Arab Emirates—an area where regional utilities are accelerating investment in grid upgrades to support rising power consumption and renewable-energy integration.

KEC’s cables and conductors business reported new supply mandates for a mix of domestic and export projects, signalling firm demand from utilities and industrial customers. The company said the latest wins reinforce its strategy of broadening its international footprint while maintaining a strong presence in India’s infrastructure build-out.
