MTN NIGERIA RELEASES 2025 SUSTAINABILITY REPORT, CHARTING PROGRESS ON RESILIENT GROWTH AND RESPONSIBLE IMPACT

MTN Nigeria Communications Plc ("MTN Nigeria" or the "Company"), Nigeria's leading telecommunications provider, announces the release of its 2025 Sustainability Report. Now in its seventh consecutive year, the Report underscores MTN Nigeria's continued commitment to sustainability, transparency, and shared value creation through strategic ESG integration and responsible business practices.
This edition marks MTN Nigeria's third consecutive year as a voluntary adopter of the IFRS Sustainability Disclosure Standards (IFRS S1 and S2), well ahead of the mandatory compliance deadline and aligns with key global and local sustainability reporting frameworks.

Reduced Scope 1 and 2 emissions by 6.4% against the 2021 baseline
Achieved a CDP rating of 'B-' for Climate Change and 'C' for Water Security
33.6% of our top suppliers by spend have pledged to our net zero commitment

Expanded network coverage to 93.7% (up 0.7pp)
Increased female workforce representation to 43.4% (up 2.0pp)
Invested N2.7 billion in Corporate Social Investment initiatives, positively impacting over 534,448 individuals
Launched the Help Children Be Children (HCBC) programme to raise awareness about child online safety
#1 Total and Network Net Promoter Score (NPS)

Achieved a Reputation Index of 80.2%, above the 75.0% benchmark
Achieved an ESG GPS sustainability rating of 3.7 out of 4.0 from Risk Insights
Directed 62.0% of total procurement spend to local suppliers (up 2.4pp)
Paid N878.7 billion in taxes, levies, and duties to support national development (up 15.0%)

These results strengthen our conviction that responsible business is the foundation of lasting growth."
