In a market short on fresh triggers, several stocks quietly grabbed attention on September 23, driven by technical breakouts, strong price action, and sustained buying interest.

The selected stocks are showing strong upward momentum, trading well above their key short- to medium-term moving averages, which indicates a positive trend in the near term.

Loyal Textiles surged 15.13% to ₹247.50. The stock is trading well above all its key simple moving averages (SMAs), with the 30-day, 50-day, 150-day and 200-day averages at ₹214.98, ₹211.16, ₹213.66 and ₹212.88, respectively. This indicates strong upward price momentum in the near term, with the current price around 16% above its 200-day SMA.

Ola Electric gained 9.76% to ₹41.96, also trading above all four key moving averages. Its 30-day SMA stands at ₹38.23, while the 50-day, 150-day and 200-day averages are at ₹38.51, ₹36.02 and ₹35.84, respectively. The stock is therefore around 17% above its 200-day SMA, suggesting that buying momentum has strengthened and the stock has moved decisively above its longer-term averages.

Jay Bee Laminations rose 9.39% to ₹92.95. The stock is trading above its 30-day SMA of ₹84.97 and 50-day SMA of ₹87.24, as well as its 150-day SMA of ₹89.15. However, it remains slightly below its 200-day SMA of ₹93.58, indicating that the longer-term trend has not yet fully turned positive. A sustained move above the 200-day average could be an important technical signal to watch.

The selected stocks are witnessing downward pressure, as reflected in negative price movements and their positioning relative to key moving averages, indicating a cautious market sentiment.

Rapid Fleet Management Services fell 2.24% to ₹205.20. The stock is trading below its 30-day SMA of ₹209.91, but remains above its 50-day, 150-day and 200-day averages of ₹200.38, ₹193.77 and ₹195.68, respectively. This suggests some near-term weakness, although the stock continues to hold above its longer-term moving averages.

Indian Card Clothing declined 2.07% to ₹208.03 and is trading below all four key moving averages. Its 30-day SMA stands at ₹212.42, while the 50-day, 150-day and 200-day averages are at ₹216.56, ₹210.75 and ₹217.20, respectively. The current price is about 4.2% below its 200-day SMA, indicating weakness across both short- and long-term trend indicators.

Premier slipped 1.80% to ₹2.73, remaining below all its key moving averages. The stock's 30-day, 50-day, 150-day and 200-day SMAs stand at ₹2.78, ₹2.81, ₹2.91 and ₹2.92, respectively. The current price is around 6.5% below its 200-day SMA, pointing to continued weakness and a negative trend across the major moving-average indicators.

Several stocks touched fresh 52-week high, highlighting persistent buying interest in the market. Notable names that hit new high included Inventurus Knowledge Solutions, Welspun Corp, Shyam Metalics, Welspun Living, RBL Bank, Redington.

Cubex Tubings, Lalithaa Jewellery Mart, Ducon Infratechnologies among others were locked in their upper circuits, reflecting strong buying and signalling bullish near-term sentiment.
