VANCOUVER, June 5 /CNW/ - Mirasol Resources Ltd. (TSXV: MRZ; Frankfurt: WKN:AOF4Z5; M8R) wishes to correct certain erroneous information which has been publicly reported in connection with the completion of a $2.0 million non-brokered private placement on May 22, 2007.
Documentation was filed by the Company with the TSX Venture Exchange (the "Exchange") which incorrectly states the beneficial owners of Talman Alliance SA and Sihl Investments. This erroneous information was publicly reported, without the knowledge of the Company, by a major media service in a release issued on May 23, 2007. In fact, Talman Alliance SA is owned by Resource Project Partners 1 Ltd., a non-registered BVI fund vehicle, and Sihl Investments is owned by Erwin Speckert, Swiss resident.
The Company hereby retracts the erroneous information and confirms that amended documentation has been filed with the Exchange. The Company regrets any difficulties or hardship that may have been experienced by the affected parties as a result of the incorrect public disclosure.
