Miranda Technologies Inc. appoints Jean Bazin and Terry Nickerson to its Board of Directors

MONTREAL, Dec. 15 /CNW Telbec/ - Miranda Technologies Inc. ("TSX: MT")
today announced the appointment of Jean Bazin and Terry Nickerson as directors
of the Company.
Jean Bazin became a partner with Fraser Milner Casgrain LLP in 1971. He
was appointed Queen's Counsel in 1984 and has been President of the Canadian
Bar Association. He was a member of the Senate of Canada and was president of
the QuDebec-Japan Business Forum in 1989. Mr. Bazin is a member of the boards
of directors of Bradley Air Services Inc., Lambert-Somec Inc., Laurentian Bank
of Canada and the SociDetDe GDenDerale de Financement du QuDebec. Mr. Bazin holds a
Bachelor of Commerce at Laval University and was admitted to the Bar of QuDebec
in 1965.
Terry Nickerson has more than 30 years of high technology, financial and
manufacturing experience. He was Chief Financial Officer at ATI Technologies
Inc., a manufacturer of 3D graphics equipment and one of Canada's largest
technology companies. Prior to working at ATI, Mr. Nickerson held executive
positions at Nortel Networks Corporation and IBM Corporation. Mr. Nickerson is
currently a director of Quake Technologies, Inc. and Silicon Storage
Technology Inc., a NASDAQ-listed company. He holds a degree in Metallurgical
Engineering from Queen's University and an MBA from Harvard.
In addition to Mr. Bazin and Mr. Nickerson, the Miranda Board of
Directors also includes five other members. They are:

- W. Brian Edwards, Chairman of the Board of Miranda;
- Strath Goodship, President and Chief Executive Officer of Miranda;
- Tom Cantwell, Co-founder of Supreme Industries, Discreet Logic, and
  many other companies;
- Bruno Riverin, former President of Desjardins Venture Inc.;
- Patrick Whittingham, former President of Sony Broadcast and Production
  Systems Division, Sony Electronics Inc. (USA).
