Minth Group has applied for environmental approval to build a new automotive parts factory in the western Serbian city of Šabac, the Ministry of Environmental Protection said, eKapija reported on May 31, marking what would be the group’s fourth investment in the industrial hub.
The application, submitted at the end of February by Minth Metal Parts Balkan (MMV), seeks consent for an environmental impact assessment for the planned facility, which will produce decorative mouldings and sealing components for the automotive industry.
Minth’s existing footprint in Šabac already includes three plants built since 2022, producing aluminium components, processed materials and battery housing systems for electric vehicles, forming part of a growing automotive manufacturing cluster in the city.
