Conclusion of the Agreement on Patent Defense Against a Competitor for an Amount of €10M

MGI Digital Technology (FR0010353888 ALMDG) announces the successful conclusion of an agreement regarding a patent infringement case, resulting in compensation of 10 million euros.

This procedure, initially launched in 2017, led to two court rulings in 2021 and June 2023, before reaching an amicable settlement for a global exploitation license.

The payment of this license by the infringing company further strengthens the financial stability of the group, which already had a net cash position exceeding 20 million euros as of the end of June 2024.

This success also highlights the recognition of MGI Digital Technology's efforts, which has been investing for over 20 years in research and development as well as the protection of its patent portfolio.
