Mexico's Alsea posts 201% profit surge in Q4

Mexican restaurant and cafe chain operator Alsea ALSEA.MX on Wednesday posted a net profit of 650.2 million Mexican pesos ($36.1 million), a 201% jump from the 215.9 million pesos registered in the same quarter last year. The multinational, which operates high-profile restaurant chains like Domino's Pizza and Starbucks in Europe and Latin America, reported fourth-quarter revenues of 22.02 billion pesos, a slight bump from the 22.01 billion pesos reported in the same quarter last year.
