MEKO is consolidating the majority of its training activities under the name MEKO Academy. The aim is to further strengthen MEKO's ability to develop and provide high-quality training and technical support for the workshops of the future. The offering targets both industry professionals and individuals who want to train as automotive technicians.
MEKO has for many years been a leader in training automotive technicians at all levels. The offering varies slightly between markets and includes upper-secondary education in Sweden, technical support, vocational programmes and advanced courses in areas such as EV management and remote diagnostics. The training operations are present in the Nordic region and Poland and are open to both MEKO employees and external participants.
In Sweden, Norway and Finland, the operations have until now been run under the name Promeister Academy, and in Poland under the brand Akademia Techniczna Inter-Team. During 2026, the offering in these markets will be organised under the name MEKO Academy.
The change strengthens MEKO's ability to leverage the Group's leading expertise and is part of the strategy to secure the right skills development as vehicle technology evolves.
"Europe's aftermarket is in an important phase of transformation driven by the growth of electric vehicles and more advanced technical solutions. MEKO has leading expertise in these areas and we want to make this more accessible to workshops and to people entering the profession. By introducing the name MEKO Academy, we clarify the Group's combined competence and create better conditions for expanding our training offering across our markets," says Pehr Oscarson, President and CEO of MEKO.
