Oct. 15, 2009 (Filing Services Canada) -- MegaMoly Inc. (MGY - TSX Venture), announced today that Mr. Garry Stock has resigned as Director and CFO of the Company in order to pursue other opportunities.
Mr. Stephen Stine, President and CEO stated, "It has been a pleasure working with Garry for the last two years and we wish to thank him for his contributions to Mega Moly during his time with the Company. We wish him every success in his future endeavours."
The Company has appointed Mr. Jon Lever as a Director and CFO of the Company, effective immediately.
Mr. Lever is a Certified Management Accountant and has extensive experience with venture-stage private and public companies in the energy and natural resource industries. He began his career with Touche Ross & Co (now part of Deloitte) in 1985. Mr. Lever currently serves as CFO for several public resource-based companies including Longview Capital Partners Incorporated (an investment company) and Finavera Renewables Inc. (a clean energy developer). Previously, he served as CFO for Wealth Minerals Ltd. and Tournigan Gold Corporation.
Mr. Stine further stated: "We are delighted to have Mr. Lever join Mega Moly. His expertise and experience in financial governance and business oversight, together with his in-depth knowledge of the resource sector will provide great additional value to the Company."
