Review on 3rd Quarter, FY2025 Summary

・Net sales increased due to higher sales of primary batteries mainly for infrastructure and medical device applications and increase in licensing revenue, including revenue recognized in advance from 4Q, despite declines in rechargeable batteries, semiconductor-related products, and health & beauty care products

・Operating profit increased due to higher profits from primary batteries for infrastructure and medical device applications, higher profits from industrial materials such as coated separators, and increase in licensing revenue, despite the impact of reduced sales following the discontinuation of prismatic LIB production and sharply rising raw-material costs
