London, 22 September 2026: M&G Investments (M&G) today announces the appointment of Gad Amar as Head of Europe, Middle East and Africa Client Group strengthening its Client Group leadership and supporting the firm's growth ambitions in Europe. Gad Amar will report to Neil Godfrey, Global Head of Client Group.
Gad will join in November to lead M&G's distribution activities across Continental Europe, the Middle East and Africa, with country heads reporting to him. Based in Paris, the newly created role will improve collaboration between the distribution and investment teams. Gad brings more than 25 years' experience in asset management distribution, product strategy and business development, most recently as Head of Western Europe at Natixis Investment Managers, having also held senior international leadership roles at Edmond de Rothschild Asset Management, BlackRock and J.P. Morgan Asset Management.
M&G continues to expand its partnerships with clients seeking diversification, portfolio resilience and access to leading active management capabilities across public and private markets. Its international business has grown by 40% in the past three years. Europe remains central to these ambitions with now close to €100 billion in external assets under management, and a strong investment and distribution presence to meet the needs of clients.
