CALGARY, Oct. 9 /CNW/ - Mainstreet Equity Corp. ("Mainstreet" or "the Corporation") (TSX: MEQ) is pleased to announce the appointment of Johnny Lam as Chief Financial Officer of the Corporation effective immediately. Mr. Lam was Chief Financial Officer of the Corporation until March 24, 2008, prior to him being appointed as Chief Operating Officer of the Corporation. Mr. Lam will also continue in his role as Chief Operating Officer.
Mr. Cory Tamagi has resigned as Chief Financial Officer of the Corporation, effective immediately to pursue other business interests.
