TORONTO, March 11 /CNW/ - Luxell Technologies Inc. (TSX:LUX) today announced that its Annual General Meeting of Shareholders will be held on May 20, 2009 beginning at 10:00 A.M. at its offices in Mississauga, Ontario.
In addition, Luxell announced that it will also be holding a Special Meeting of Shareholders on April 20, 2009. The purpose of the Special Meeting will be to ask shareholders of Luxell to approve a proposed going-private transaction by way of an amalgamation of Luxell and Lux Acquisition Corporation ("LAC"). It is anticipated that proxy and information material will be mailed to shareholders of record on March 20, 2009, on or about March 30, 2009. This Special Meeting of Shareholders was requisitioned by LAC, as previously announced, and will also be held at Luxell's executive offices.
