Launch of MyID® Authenticate

· Issued by Intercede Group PLC via RNS

Summary by 6ix

Intercede, a cybersecurity software company focused on digital identities, launched MyID® Authenticate, a FIDO passkey (password-free sign-in) product for governments and enterprises, on October 12, 2026. Its lead customer is a European public-sector digital services organisation, and version 2026.1 is available now.

Key details

  • Intercede says the product gives phishing-resistant sign-in to Windows desktops, cloud services and on-premise applications from a single platform, acting as both a FIDO authentication server and a passkey issuer.
  • It supports FIDO2 security keys and device-bound and synced passkeys, including passkey sign-in to Windows 10 and 11, offline as well. It uses the SAML 2.0 and OpenID Connect sign-in standards for cloud and on-premise applications, and RADIUS for VPNs and legacy systems.
  • It can be deployed on-premise, in the cloud or hybrid. Existing MyID® MFA (multi-factor authentication) customers can move to it using the MyID® Authenticate Migration Tool, and it integrates with MyID® CMS.
  • Intercede plans to show the product internationally for the first time at GovWare 2026, an Asia-Pacific cybersecurity event, from 13 to 15 October 2026 at the Sands Expo and Convention Centre, Singapore, on stand M38, and on DT Asia stand M31 in collaboration with Swissbit.

New FIDO passkey authentication solution launches with a European public-sector lead customer ahead of its international debut at GovWare 2026

Intercede, the digital identity experts, today announced the launch of MyID® Authenticate, a FIDO passkey authentication solution that gives governments and enterprises phishing-resistant sign-in to Windows desktops, cloud services and on-premise applications from a single platform.

We are pleased to announce that MyID® Authenticate is launching with a major European public-sector digital services organisation as its lead customer, marking a significant milestone in the product’s commercial rollout.

Passwords and one-time codes are easily phished. FIDO passkeys are phishing-resistant by design, yet many organisations still struggle to extend them beyond a handful of web applications to the Windows desktop, legacy applications and VPNs.

MyID® Authenticate addresses this as both a FIDO authentication server and a passkey issuer. It supports FIDO2 security keys and device-bound and synced passkeys, with Passkey Windows Logon on Windows 10 and 11, including offline. SAML 2.0 and OpenID Connect extend the same passkeys to cloud and on-premise applications, while RADIUS supports VPNs and legacy systems. The solution can be deployed on-premise, in the cloud or hybrid, and its crypto-agile design supports post-quantum cryptography.

Existing MyID® MFA customers can move to the new solution using the MyID® Authenticate Migration Tool, and MyID® Authenticate integrates with MyID® CMS for organisations that also issue and manage high-assurance credentials.

“Everyone agrees passkeys are one of the strongest defences against phishing. The hard part has been getting them onto every desktop and into every modern application. That is exactly what MyID® Authenticate does.”

Dan McLoughlin, Chief Product Officer, Intercede

MyID® Authenticate will make its international debut at GovWare 2026, one of Asia-Pacific’s leading cybersecurity events, where Intercede will demonstrate Passkey Windows Logon, offline sign-in and migration from MyID® MFA:

•        Dates: 13 to 15 October 2026

•        Venue: Sands Expo and Convention Centre, Singapore

•        Stands: Intercede, M38; DT Asia, M31, in collaboration with Swissbit

“Passkeys are easiest to understand when you see them in action. At GovWare, visitors can sign in to Windows with a passkey and see for themselves how simple phishing-resistant authentication can be.”

Dan McLoughlin, Chief Product Officer, Intercede
