Invest to Expand Production for Data Center Sector New Factory Building to be Constructed at Thai Plant

KITZ Corporation has decided to invest in the Amata Plant of KITZ (Thailand) Ltd. to expand its business in the data center market. A new factory building will be constructed within the premises of the existing plant to strengthen the production capacity of butterfly valves for the data center market.

Background of the New Factory Construction
In recent years, the construction of data centers has accelerated worldwide, leading to a rapid increase in demand for valves. In our Second Medium-Term Plan "SHIN GLOBAL 2027" (announced in February 2025), the data center market is positioned as one of our targeted core markets, and we are actively working to expand our business in this area. The Amata Plant is already increasing production of butterfly valves used in cooling systems for data centers.
To respond to further market growth, particularly in North America, we have decided to enhance production capacity by the construction of a new factory building within the Amata Plant premises. This investment will enable us to swiftly respond to robust demand while also reducing costs through expanded in-house production. We will continue to strengthen our competitiveness in the data center market and strive for sustainable growth, in pursuit of achieving our medium-term plan and long-term vision.
