HALIFAX, NS , Aug. 16, 2021 /CNW/ - Killam Apartment REIT (TSX: KMP.UN) is pleased to announce its August 2021 monthly distribution. The distribution of $0.05667 per unit will be paid on September 15, 2021 , to unitholders of record on August 31, 2021 .
On August 4, 2021 , Killam announced a 2.9% increase to its distribution on an annualized basis, to $0.70 per unit from $0.68 per unit. The monthly distribution will be $0.05833 per unit, up from $0.05667 per unit. The increase will apply to the September 2021 distribution, to be paid in October 2021 .
Killam Apartment REIT offers a distribution reinvestment plan (the "DRIP"). Eligible unitholders may reinvest their cash distributions, on each distribution payment date, in additional units. Participating unitholders will receive an additional distribution of units representing 3% of the amount of the distribution reinvested pursuant to the DRIP.
