Cdib capital group invests in AI fund, a leading silicon valley venture studio

CDIB Capital Group (CDIB) is pleased to announce that it has completed an investment in Dr. Andrew Ng's AI Fund, a venture studio based in Silicon Valley that focuses on building new AI companies. Established in 2017, AI Fund co-builds new AI companies alongside world class entrepreneurs and corporate partners.

The investment is part of CDIB's efforts to establish strategic relationships with key venture partners that are leading the charge on the developmental front of incubating and nurturing startups with AI-related applications. The partnership will help fortify and continue to foster the connectivity between Taiwan and Silicon Valley, which is a core corridor of technological development in the modern era where the cross pollination of ideas and commercial exchanges will catalyze an acceleration in the realization of AI adoption across a multitude of industries amongst a variety of constituents, providing practical solutions to corporates around the world that solve existing real-world problems.

A globally recognized leader in AI, Dr. Andrew Ng leads AI Fund as the Managing General Partner. Additionally, he is the Founder and Executive Chairman of Landing AI, Founder of DeepLearning.AI, Chairman and Co-founder of Coursera, and an Adjunct Professor at Stanford University. As a pioneer both in machine learning and online education, Dr. Ng has changed countless lives through his work in AI, authoring or co-authoring more than 200 research papers in machine learning, robotics and related fields. He also led teams that helped with two leading technology companies' AI adoption, as the founding lead of the Google Brain team, and Chief Scientist at Baidu.
