Price Revision of Polyimide Film ‐ Increasing the Price by 20% for Shipments from April 16 ‐ KANEKA CORPORATION March 19, 2026 Kaneka Corporation (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; President: Kazuhiko Fujii) will revise the sales price of polyimide film (product names: Apical™ and Pixeo™). The current price per square meter will be raised by 20% for shipments from April 16, 2026. Amid worsening conditions in the Middle East, the maritime transportation environment around the Strait of Hormuz has become increasingly unstable, resulting in serious disruptions to the supply of crude oil and petroleum products. In addition, energy-related costs have continued to rise. While we have made substantial efforts to improve profitability through cost reductions, these measures alone are no longer sufficient. As a result, we have determined that a price adjustment is necessary to ensure a stable supply going forward. Depending on changes in global affairs, military conditions in the Middle East, and raw material or energy markets, we may need to request further price adjustments.
